Scene 7 summary

In scene 7 at the start Macbeth has a soliloquy where he feels like he can’t kill Duncan, because Macbeth has been loyal to Duncan. Lady Macbeth is trying to persuade Macbeth to kill Duncan by teasing him.”Screw your courage to the sticking place.” Which means that Macbeth went through with the plan. Lady Macbeth is saying to Macbeth be the man you are.

    Your scene summaries would really benefit from a greater exploration of the language. Look at the quotation you have chosen, why would Lady Macbeth use the verb ‘screw’, how does this link to her manipulation of him.
