Macbeth scene 3

The third scene in Macbeth starts with all of the witches meeting up on a heath. All of the witches asked where they have been. The second witch was killing swine. The first witch came across a sailors wife with chestnuts on her lap. The witch asked for some, but she refused to give up her chestnuts.” A sailor’s wife had chestnuts in her lap and munch’d, and munch’d and munch’d give me quote I :Aroint thee witch! She starts to plan revenge on his wife and him.

    This is the first scene where we actually meet Macbeth. Does he meet our expectations? How does he react to the witches? What about the prophecies?
